GORRONO RANCH (9) is back after a break of nine weeks. At the last run before the layoff she finished fifth over 1m at Saratoga (Turf). Looks the one to beat. VALALA (3) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 5½f at Saratoga (Dirt) when second, beaten 0.8 lengths. Nicely drawn so a big run is anticipated. MISS SOOTHSAYER (6) was well fancied on debut last start but found a couple better over 1m1/4f at Gulfstream Park. Will benefit from that experience so another bold showing is expected. PEDITAL (1) faced the starter for the first time and finished fourth last start at Ellis Park (Turf) over 5½f, beaten 0.7 lengths. Should be thereabouts.
