AFRICAN WILD DOG (2) was prominent from the outset when second over 7f at this track last time out. Should be right in the finish. ZANFAN MORIS (3) is yet to break through after three career starts. Managed to find the placings at this track two starts back when resuming before finishing fourth over 7½f at this track last time. Should be in the mix. BIG DEAL (7) did little and finished 5. 5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1m at Durbanville last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at this track the run before. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. IT'SGOOD IT'SNICE (8) had been going okay but was safely held last start when ninth over 7½f in Group 3 class at Durbanville. Deserves another chance.
