TENPENNY (4) was far from disgraced when second last start over 7½f at this track, beaten a long neck. That followed a win at Durbanville the start prior. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. LANDOFTHERISINGSUN (1) tackled the Peninsula Handicap over 1m1f at this track last time out when fresh from a lay-off and was beaten 7 lengths into sixth by Regulation. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the lead. Sure to be in the finish. UMFULA (7) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing fifth and beaten 5 lengths starting at 3/1. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. KATSU (5) is back from a break of nine weeks. Closed last campaign with a narrow defeat over 1m at this track. Has to be respected.
