TRIPPI'S SILK (9) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 7f at this track. The engagement of Aldo Domeyer is noteworthy. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. LOVERS LANE (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at this track, beaten 0.6 lengths into fourth. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. MARITZBURG MEMORY (1) did little and finished 7 lengths from the winner in seventh over 7f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than her sixth at this track the run before. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is good enough to play a major role. AUGUSTA BLUE (7) resumes in a similar race to his last run nine weeks ago when 16th, beaten 11 lengths. Has to be respected.
