HELIOTROPE (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.5 lengths over 1m1f at this track. Nicely placed to find winning ways. MISTER MONOCLE (4) improved last start to finish second over 1m3f at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MOHANDAS (2) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just two times from 25 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 1m3f at this track. Luyolo Mxothwa gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Likely contender with strong prospects. TWICE THE MASTER (7) comes here off a break of 12 weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 1m1f at Durbanville. Sure to make his presence felt.
