SHIFTING PATH (7) is in fine form and hasn't missed the frame in his past four starts. Last time out he scored over 5½f at this track. Looks the one to beat again. WINTER PEARL (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 6f at this track. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. NIGHT BOMBER (8) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing sixth last start over 7f at this track five-and-a-half weeks ago. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Capable of testing this field. GREAT CAT (11) is back from a 12 weeks lay-off and she does run well when resuming, including a win over 6¼f at Durbanville at the start of last prep. Can make her presence felt while fresh.
