AUGUSTUS GLOOP (2) will find this easier than the good contest he took in at Newcastle 47 days ago when he was well supported but laboured to a disappointing finish in sixth place. Still not beaten far on that occasion and looks sure to be bounced back. THE LOST SOCK (1) was building towards a victory before eventually getting off the mark at Catterick in August. Should be fine on this all-weather debut and worth a market check. SPARKSMITH (7) looks to have plenty of ability and scored on his third start at Wolverhampton winning by 5L. Tough ask on handicap debut. RIVER SPEY (3) won nicely in October and is respected.
