EQUINOX LEGEND (5) wasn't far away when resuming last start when fifth over 7f at this track. May appreciate the longer journey with that run under the belt. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will be tough to hold out. COPARTNER PEGASUS (3) is a consistent performer with three minor placings from four starts this prep. Continued the trend last start when third over 1m at Gosford after he was prominent throughout. Steps up a level but he is good enough to figure in the finish. CLANWILLIAM (2) raced in town last time and wound up nicely, finishing third at Randwick Kensington and finds an easier class here. Looks suited first attempt at this trip and should be tough to stop again. LEON RUBEN (7) turned in another moderate effort last start when 4. 5 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1m at this track. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
