ELLISMAYNE (9) did little and finished 3 lengths from the winner in sixth over 7f at Newcastle last start after being prominent at the corner, a less impressive effort than his fifth at Illawarra Grange the run before. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. GAELIC GEM (12) was in contention on the bend and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at Wyong, beaten 1. 75 lengths. Ready to go a couple better.
