YESZEM (9) finished third, beaten a long neck, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Gosford. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. COOL RUPERT (1) is back after a break of six-and-a-half months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at his latest appearance over 7f at Nowra. Has trialled two times leading into this. Has ability and is a solid chance. BELLO CAVALLO (2) resumes from a lay-off of 12 weeks. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 7f at Warwick Farm. Commenced last prep with a minor placing at Randwick Kensington over 6½f. One of the leading chances. SETTA ICON (6) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 6f at Sapphire Coast. Yet to break through this time in but hasn't been far away, with two placings to his name. Not to be discounted.
