SENJUTSU (14) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when when resuming after a lay-off last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 1. 4 lengths, over 6½f at Hawkesbury. Rates highly and expected to go well. CUBAN CIGAR (12) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Hawkesbury, beaten 6 lengths into sixth after being in the firing line on the bend. Will enjoy a drop in class so he will be hard to beat. OLUFSEN (10) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't feature last start when 9 lengths away in eighth over 6½f at Canberra. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. CLOSE ENCOUNTER (11) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Warwick Farm, beaten 6 lengths into seventh. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
