OUR GOLD HOPE (3) missed the frame but not disgraced in town when sixth in the G3 Rosehill Gold Cup at Randwick. Returns to home track this time. Won't find this assignment as tough. Leading contender. WELL TIMED (5) wound up strongly last time out to finish a head adrift in second over 7½f at Hawkesbury. Drops back in grade. Should be involved in the finish. LAVISH EMPIRE (7) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 6 lengths away in 14th over 1m at Randwick. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
