Among the leading chances. GOLDEN CENTURY (2) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1m1 1/2f at Canterbury, scoring by 2 lengths. No reason he cannot get the job done again. THE BIG BLUE (9) was in contention on the corner and finished second last start over 1m1 1/2f at Canterbury, beaten 2 lengths. This is a nice drop in grade so he is one of the main contenders. SEPTIMUS (4) saluted two runs ago then turned in a decent effort last time out when third over 1m2 1/2f at Goulburn, beaten 1.75 lengths. Should be thereabouts.
