BENAMERA (4) hadn't been far away prior to finishing 7 lengths adrift in eighth last start over 7f at Goulburn. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but is capable of featuring. SAMARELLE (5) has been kept fresh since winning over 6f at Newcastle. Kept up to the mark with a recent Canterbury trial placing. Serious threat. STAGE LEGEND (3) was in the money two starts back at Newcastle but couldn't back it up last time when seventh, beaten 6 lengths, at Wyong over 6¾f. Finds a nice race and can make amends. TESSY TEE (6) went forward and gave a great sight when second over 7½f at this track last time out. Andrew Calder stays on. Must be respected.
