MAFIA (1) stuck on well when resuming last start to finish third over 5½f at Canterbury after showing good early speed. Has the talent to go a couple better. KILLER KERR (7) got the prize two runs ago at Warwick Farm. Not as effective last time out when fifth over 6½f at Rosehill, beaten 4.5 lengths. Faces an easier assignment so she is a leading contender. CANI CANCAN (6) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 6f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into tenth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
