Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Has fared well at the stall draw and is ready to run well. CUESTA (2) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was beaten 7 lengths into fifth over 6¼f at Newcastle. Likely improver with strong prospects. CUBAN RAIN (6) is back after a break of four months. At the last run before the layoff she finished ninth over 7f at Randwick Kensington. Ran fourth in a recent trial at Kembla Grange. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
