STRAWBERRY IMPACT (8) ran a much better race at his second outing last start to finish second over 7½f at this track after being in contention on the turn. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. PATISSIER (7) did little and finished 5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 7f at Newcastle last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth on debut at Hawkesbury the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. BOBS BACK (4) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 3 lengths when fifth in a 7f contest at this track eight days ago. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. MACHINATION (6) is building towards his maiden success, the latest effort a solid fourth over 6f at Sapphire Coast, beaten 2 lengths. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp.
