CALIFORNIA WAVES (7) continues to race well with a win in a at Hawkesbury before finishing 2.2.5 lengths away in third last time over 7½f at this track. Well placed and worth another chance. VICTORY AT OMAHA (9) was not disgraced in city class last time when fourth at Canterbury but back to home course this time. Meets easier opposition this time. Has claims on his best form. JACOB'S TIME (3) registered a strong win two runs ago then turned in a decent effort last time out when third over 1m at Randwick, beaten 2.2.5 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
