NOCTUA (16) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was in the firing line on the bend before being beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 6f at Newcastle. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. MONTIGO BAY (5) should be peaking now after finishing third over 7f at this track last time at the third run of the campaign. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will prove tough to beat. RYBAKINA (6) showed good early dash and led for much of the way before weakening out of it when 4.5 lengths away in fifth over 6¼f at Canterbury. Will give a sight. MONCAROLINIA (3) finished second last start over 6f at this track, beaten 1.3 lengths. Should take a lot from that hit-out. Placed to advantage so expect another bold run.
