HALO PHENOMENA (15) returns from a five months break but will strip fitter for two trial placings. Looks set for a strong run. EX WIFE (1) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 5f at Wyong when third, beaten 0.8 lengths. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so he should pay to follow. THE ACT (5) will find this a little easier than his third on debut a month ago, beaten 0.8 lengths at the end of 5½f at Wyong. Breaks from a wide draw but another top-three finish is on the cards. FRENCH RULER (3) made debut three-and-a-half months ago at Canterbury when finished in the placings and hasn't raced since. Will strip fitter for recent trials and is an each way hope again.
