SPIRIT OF VARANASI (11) was in the money two starts back at Newcastle but couldn't back it up last time when ninth, beaten 3 lengths, at Rosehill over 6f. Worth noting Keagan Latham goes aboard. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. MOGUL MONARCH (12) was in the firing line on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 6f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. PARTY DOLL (9) finished fourth last time out over 5½f at Warwick Farm, beaten 4 lengths. Solid top-three hope.
