DARK GLITTER (8) was sent out at long odds last time but ran above expectations to finish third, beaten only 0.9 lengths, over 7¾f at Randwick Kensington. Settles back early but winds up late. Will prove tough to beat. EDGE OF REWARD (5) stuck on well to finish third last start over 7½f at Newcastle, beaten 1.2 lengths. In a suitable race and can go on to take this out. TARTANA (10) accounted for a maiden field over 6f at Gosford last start when fresh from a break. This is tougher but she cannot be underestimated. HERB (7) made a nice return in a then met with solid backing but disappointed when ninth over 6½f at this track three weeks ago. Fitter and can do much better this time.
