PURE HYDROGEN (5) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when 11th over 7f at Newcastle after he travelled towards the rear of the field. Has further improvement to come and is the one they have to beat. PIPISTRELLE (11) has been in good form, scoring three back at Newcastle then placing twice in a row, most recently finishing second when she was handy all the way over 1m at Newcastle. Worth noting Alysha Collett goes aboard. Looks well placed so expect another big run. CACOFONIX (1) has had two runs since a break, the latest a 12th over 6¾f at Wyong, beaten 7 lengths. INQUIRING MINDS (2) is a four-year-old import having his first run for the John O'shea barn. Finished off last campaign with ninth over 1m4f at Goodwood nine months ago. Placed in a recent trial so he can return with a bold run.
