Race Tip

WAL BUCK'S (3) was an impressive 8.5L winner last December tackling a 3m2f novices handicap chase at Haydock prior to a placing at Uttoxeter. Ended last season with a fair fifth over 3m at Perth in April and finding ideal opportunity on return rates a serious player. KILMORE ROCK (1) now goes chasing after a 3.5L victory in a 2m7f handicap hurdle here before a distant third attempting the same journey at Hexham in June. Open to further progress and longer trip could help. Makes appeal. HALF SHOT (2) showed ability managing a creditable fourth in a 2m6f course handicap chase. Claims. ASHTOWN LAD (4) holds ability to go well.
