HAUNTING ECHOES (3) was right in contention when they turned for home and kept finding to finish second last start over 6½f at Parx (Dirt), beaten a nose as favourite. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. ARMY'S MARAUDER (9) fought on well for third last start over 1m1/2f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt), making it three minor placings in a row. Blinkers on should sharpen her right up. POISE (10) is a three-year-old filly on debut by Gun Runner from Etiquette who has been a fine producer including a winner at G1 level. Looks one of the better chances despite a difficult gate.
