BOLD JOURNEY (2) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by 0. 1 lengths over 6f in the G3 Tom Fool Handicap at Aqueduct (Dirt). Goes well at this journey with seven wins and six placings from 18 starts and shapes as a key contender. DURANTE (1) returned from a lay-off six-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 7 lengths into fourth over 6f at Oaklawn Park. Meeting a tougher field but with added fitness he is one of the key runners. AMERICAN MONARCH (3) was prominent at the corner and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6½f at Gulfstream Park (Dirt), beaten 0. 3 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but it is good enough to play a major role. LITTLE NI (4) is back after a break of six months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 7f at Saratoga. Has recorded two wins when when resuming from a break. Definite top-three chance.
