Was in the placings when when resuming from a lay-off last campaign at this track (Turf) over 5½f. Shapes well and a bold showing is expected. BEER RUN (10) resumes. After filling a minor placing at his only appearance last prep at kentucky (turf) over 6f on august 31. Proving a good combination with Jose Ortiz with three straight placings. Best form puts him right in this. GEARING UP (14) has been thereabouts all prep, last time out finishing second over 6f at Turfway Park (Synthetic) at the third run back. Rock-hard fit now so a top-three finish is on the radar. VELOCIRAPTOR (7) remains a maiden after four starts. Raced on the speed last time before fading to finish fifth over 6f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt). Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. In the mix.
