MYSTICAL WISDOM (9) met with solid support last time out but could only manage to finish tenth over 1m1 3/4f at Morphettville Parks in a disappointing performance. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp. SNIPER'S SON (2) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 2.5 lengths over 6½f at Northam. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. FIRE THE GUARD (1) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest at this track over 6f. Commendable record at this trip with a win and four minor placings and shapes as one to consider. BUNDABERG (5) showed good early speed last start before boxing on well and finishing second, beaten 0.6 lengths, over this trip at Bunbury. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing.
