TWIST OF GOLD (2) finished second two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 0.8 lengths over 5½f at this track. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. MAVIS MYRTLE (7) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when eighth, beaten 6 lengths, over 5f at Pinjarra. Will enjoy a drop in class so she will be hard to beat. BRULANTE (10) is returning from a lay-off of nine weeks. Finished fifth at Cranbourne over 6½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Paul Tapper. Can measure up at the first run for a new barn. STRYKER'S GAL (8) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 6½f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Looks to be in the right race so expect another big run.
