MELDUBIOUS (1) is a promising four-year-old gelding who returned from a break last start and finished a nose away in second over 6f at Gold Coast. Should be in the finish. EXTREME DIAMOND (2) did well when resuming over 5½f at Doomben last start, finishing second and beaten 0. 6 lengths. When resuming run. One of the better chances. ESPRIT DU JOUR (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just one length from the winner in third over 5½f at Doomben. This doesn't look as hard so she is one of the main contenders. DIVINE JUSTICE (6) is a four-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Jack Bruce barn. Hasn't raced since finishing in the placings at Pakenham six months ago. Ran fifth in a trial over 5f at Doomben and is in a nice race. Not to be underestimated.
