KALKANLI (7) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at this track two starts back then got the job done by a nose last time out over 1m1 1f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again. FARWEST (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only one length over 1m1 1/2f at Gold Coast Poly. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. TRUMP CARD (5) finds it hard to win with two victories from 23 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 1m1 1f at this track. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. PULVERISER (1) fought on for third last start over 1m at Rockhampton, beaten 2. 5 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
