ICONIFY (1) resumes from a lay-off of 16 months and is having his first outing under new trainer Tony Gollan. Finished fourth at Hawkesbury over 6½f at the opening run last time in work. Fitter for a fourth in a recent trial over 5f at Doomben. Leading contender. ARCELIA (5) was a new acquisition for the Rex Lipp stable last start when she made steady ground to run into second over 5½f at Gatton at the first run back from a lay-off. Expected to run well again. SPOILT ROTTEN (7) was solidly backed last time out but could only manage fifth over 5½f at Toowoomba, beaten 2. 75 lengths. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the main contenders. ZOUSLAYER (8) finished third last time over 6f at this track, beaten one length. Will trim down following recent racing. Placed to advantage and can fill another top-three spot.
