RIEZ SOUVENT (3) is a maiden galloper resuming from a lay-off after finishing fifth over 7¾f at Canterbury at the latest appearance on December 19. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Great chance to break through. BALMORAL CASTLE (9) met with solid support when resuming last start over 5½f at Wyong when fourth, beaten 3 lengths. Great chance to atone. ARISTOCRATIC GIRL (7) went forward over 6f at Doomben last time but found a couple better. Hasn't been far away this time in work with four minor placings from six starts. Has to be respected. DISPARATE (2) returns after a seven months lay-off and looks forward enough following a Gold Coast trial win. Worth plenty of thought.
