Likely improver with strong prospects. SMUDGED (12) drifted back from her wide draw when resuming last time then hit the line hard to finish third at Sunshine Coast over 6f. Should go well again. CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS (20) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fourth over 6f at this track. Has further improvement to come and can turn things around. SECRET CYPHER (18) was in the money two starts back at Dalby but was unable to repeat the effort last time when seventh, beaten 3. 5 lengths, at Doomben over 6f. Nicely placed to bounce back.
