IMMEDIATE (1) is back from a break of four months. Closed last campaign with a narrow defeat over 5½f at Gold Coast. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. LINWOOD (2) is returning from a lay-off of six months. Finished seventh at Warwick Farm over 6f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Bradley Smith. Ran fifth in a trial at Ipswich over 4f recently. Expect her to pose a serious challenge. ESPRIT DU JOUR (5) is back at the races for the first time since July 19. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6f at Warwick. Makes plenty of appeal. DAITANNA (3) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Warwick, finishing third and only 2. 5 lengths from the winner at the end of 6f. Sure to be in the mix.
