Better placed in this easier assignment and should regain form. EXCELLADUS (5) is a seven-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Stuart Kendrick barn. Hasn't raced since finishing ninth at Rosehill five months ago. Ran fifth in a trial over 5f at Sunshine Coast Inner Track and looks nicely placed. Bold showing expected. ATMOSPHERE (1) was in the firing line on the bend and finished third last start over 6¾f at this track, beaten 1. 75 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. DON PEDRO (7) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a long neck from the winner in second over 7f at Sunshine Coast. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
