LAAN (3) turned in an eye-catching run last start over 1m at Eagle Farm, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Will be tough to hold out. LA GRACIA (2) made progress last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1m1/2f at this track. Taking on a better field but she is capable of running a bold race. MAKING EYES (7) showed good early dash and led for most of the way before fading to finish 3 lengths away in fourth over 1m at Sunshine Coast. Blinkers removed. One of the main hopes. JADATAN (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/4f at this track, beaten 3. 5 lengths into sixth. No surprise to see her in contention.
