DARK CHILL (1) returns from a layoff of 11 months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6f at Gold Coast Poly. Now under the care of new trainer Ethan Ensby. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. SHELSTEIN (5) is back from a lay-off of seven months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 6f at Kembla Grange. Fitter for a fourth in a recent trial over 4f26yards at Warwick Farm. Should be prominent. ARAMINTA (8) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Doomben, finishing fourth and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 6¾f after being prominent at the turn. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. INDAZA (9) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6f at Doomben after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so she can feature again.
