TALTARNI FIELDS (1) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 5f at Sunshine Coast, scoring by one length. Open to plenty of improvement and is a great chance to get the prize again. GIVE GIGGLES (5) has filled a minor placing at both runs this time in work, working home in good style at the most recent outing to finish third over 6f at this track. Solid prospects. MEAN APPROACH (6) was well beaten in stronger company two starts back then found a better race last time and scored by 1.3 lengths over 5½f at Rockhampton. Leading player again. RUSSIAN SUB (4) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 6 lengths into seventh over 5f at Gold Coast last time out. Has a terrific record here with two wins and three minor placings from five starts. Cannot be dismissed with that race fitness.
