MALARINA (11) hasn't raced since finishing fourth over 6¾f at this track on July 19 and has since switched trainers. Finished fifth in a trial over 5f at Doomben. Goes well when fresh with a win and two minor placings from three starts. Shapes as one to consider. GIN A TONIC (2) hasn't been far away lately, beaten 2.5 lengths at his most recent appearance when seventh over 6f at Eagle Farm. Will find this easier than last start. Has winning claims. PRE EMINENCE (1) sat on the pace and stuck on well to score by 0.8 lengths at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. No reason he cannot salute again.
