HERMANITA (5) raced on the speed and kept going to score by a long neck last time out over 6f at Eagle Farm. Will be handy in running despite the tricky draw. Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. READY FOR ANYTHING (2) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten one length, over 7f at Gold Coast. Good record at this journey with two wins and four minor placings from nine starts and is right in this. TREPORTI (4) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish fourth over 7f at Eagle Farm. Must be included among the main hopes. OUTSMARTED (7) showed little early speed from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly to score a one length win over 6½f at Eagle Farm. In form and will be running on hard again.
