RUSSIAN PINS (8) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was in the firing line on the turn before being beaten 0.7 lengths into fifth over 4f at this track. Fitter so expect a better run this time. PUROSANGUE (5) did a great job to score by 0.9 lengths over this course and distance when resuming from a lay-off last time out. Looks well placed so expect another big run. DUSAN (2) last appeared two-and-a-half weeks ago over 5f at Grafton when he finished third. This is his first run for the Samantha Mcguren stable. Has found the right race and is worth including. UPSTART LEGEND (4) comes here off a break of five months. Scored over 5f at Toowoomba to launch the last campaign. Can make her presence felt.
