HELLUVA BARTY (3) returns from a lay-off of seven months and did score when resuming when last in work at Doomben over 5½f. Lines up for the first time for the Matthew Hoysted stable. Placed in a recent trial. Looks set to run well for the new mentor. CLOVER'S PRINCE (2) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at Gold Coast Poly over 5¼f, beaten half a length. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Sound record at this distance with two wins and two minor placings from six runs and is sure to go well. ADDRIEL (1) was not disgraced in city class last time when fourth at Doomben and goes well here. Will find this easier than last start. Well placed and should be in the finish. TOWN CRIER (5) finished eighth over 6f at Doomben last time out following a determined win two runs back. Will find this easier. Not to be discounted.
