RED DEFCON (4) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing tenth in the LR Princess Stakes at Eagle Farm and beaten 3.5 lengths. Nice class drop this time. Leading contender. ARTFUL GIRL (5) finished 11th over 1m1f at Gold Coast at her most recent appearance on March 9. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. MISS CHENERY (6) settled well back last start and never threatened when 7 lengths from the winner in 15th over 1m in the LR Princess Stakes at Eagle Farm. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. COLLEAGUES (1) was well supported when resuming last time out over 7f at Sunshine Coast and proved too strong, scoring by 2 lengths. Fitter for that last hitout and is worth following up.
