GRIFFINSTOWN GIRL (8) ran below expectations last time after being in the firing line on the bend at Armidale, finishing ninth and beaten 11 lengths starting at 17/2. Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. THUNDER SHANGHAI (10) settled well back last start and made little impact in the straight when 12th, beaten 18 lengths, over this journey at Gatton. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. KNOWITALL FRANK (1) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by 0. 9 lengths over 6½f at Toowoomba. Fitter for that last hitout and is expected to run well again. ST ROY (13) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 3. 5 lengths away in fifth over 7f at Tamworth. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
