WOKOU (9) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Glen Innes, finishing third and only 0.9 lengths from the winner at the end of 5f. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. EJECT (1) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Stirling Osland stable. Hasn't raced since finishing tenth at Seymour five-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks well placed. Leading prospect. SHARPEN THE KNIVES (6) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Armidale but raced below expectations last time over 6¼f at Gunnedah, finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths. Finds a nice race and can make amends. WHISPERING MURIEL (3) disappointed last start when out of the placings over 6f at Port Macquarie, beaten 18 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects.
