RIP WHEELER (2) resumes after seven months. Narrowly beaten second when fresh here last campaign over 2m4 1/2f. This proven when resuming performer with a strong record at the track looks ready to fire again. LORD MAHER (5) hasn’t been at his best in recent runs. Capable of a turnaround having been brought down on latest appearance at Fontwell Park. Cannot be underestimated. HAWKSEYE VIEW (4) wasn’t disgraced last start attempting a Wetherby hurdle. Filled a placing tackling fences the run before and a repeat of that effort puts him right in the mix. May build on that with added fitness.
