VERBOSITY (2) finished sixth two runs back at Warrnambool then improved last time out to score by 4 lengths as favourite after being in the firing line on the corner over 6½f at Ararat. Likely to be there at the finish again. WORLD ACTION (7) was comfortably accounted for when seventh last time out over 7f at Warrnambool, beaten 5 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Will enjoy a drop in class so she is a leading contender. CAPTAIN JOOLIAN (1) continued the good recent form when he finished just one length away in third last time out over 7f at Mt Gambier. Will drift back but wind up late. Top three prospects.
