Good effort to open last prep when in the money at this track over 5½f. Tuned up with a fourth in a recent trial at Donald. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. BLACK CHERRY (13) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when sixth, beaten 7 lengths, over 6f at Kyneton. Likely improver with strong prospects. AQUAFOX (3) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when eighth at Benalla over 5½f, beaten 4 lengths. Looks well placed here and has to be respected.
