MASKED MARAUDER (3) ran below expectations last time at Werribee, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths starting at 5/1. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. SALSA FELLOW (7) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and stalked the lead before fading to finish eighth over 6f at Pakenham. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. PRIMAL SPIRIT (5) finished ninth over 6f at Ballarat at his most recent appearance on October 3. Now under the care of new trainer Reece Goodwin. One to consider. PERMANENCE (2) launched his career with a win then was less impressive last time out when eighth over 5½f at Pakenham, beaten 8 lengths. In contention this time.
